Welcome and thank you for visiting the Potomac Highlands Composite Squadron (PHCS) website.

The PHCS is a Civil Air Patrol (CAP) organization within the West Virginia Wing of the CAP Middle Eastern Region (MER-WV-114).  Our Squadron headquarters are located at Grant County Airport (W99) in Petersburg, WV.  Our weekly meetings are held at the airport terminal Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 (Cadet meetings typically end at 8:00).  Everyone is welcome to attend!  We were recently recognized as the fastest growing CAP Squadron in the WV Wing!

Interested in Joining?
If you are interested in joining CAP's cadet program, you must be between 12 and 18 years old. If you are already a CAP cadet member prior to being age 18, you may choose to remain a cadet until age 21. You can get a good idea of what cadet membership is all about by visiting the Potomac Highlands Composite Squadron. You must be at least 18 years of age to join CAP as an adult member. For the protection of our cadets, prospective adult members must undergo an FBI fingerprint background screening.
